The food at Ambar Capitol Hill was fantastic! The kebab was so good we ended up ordering an extra one. The cauliflower and the cheese pita were both amazing — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. If it were possible to give six stars, this restaurant would get it! I've never in my life had the opportunity to try Balkan cuisine prior to this dinner. I absolutely loved the group dinner and family style service that I got to participate in. I think the high points of the dinner were the sausage and potato platter, the mushroom crepes and the roasted cauliflower. But the mainline event had to be the seafood platter and amazing corn and seafood chowder. And I think beet tsiki might be my new favorite condiment! Service staff were very helpful in explaining the dishes as they came out. Overall, an absolutely fabulous memory with friends in a very cool City!
