Meet Uros Jojic, nominated for Manager of The Year 2024 by Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington ! Uros’ remarkable journey in the hospitality industry began humbly as a server at the Capitol Hill location. Over the span of 12 years, Uros dedicated his efforts to grow Ambar and assumed the role of Director of Operations. The passion that he has for the craft is unparalleled.

Over the years, Uros has been a beacon of support and guidance for team members, nurturing employees and coaching them to flourish under his leadership. He is known for striving for continuous improvement, proactiveness and addressing employee needs. His spirit, kindness and fairness are appreciated among the Ambar family.

Meet Snjezana Jaksic, a RAMMY Finalist for Manager of the Year 2023! She was recognized for her outstanding service, exemplary work ethic and positive image.

Snježana began her journey with us as a Host. Shortly after joining, she received training to become a server, and in February 2016, she was invited to join our prestigious Management Academy. Upon completing the program, Snježana transitioned to serving and bartending full-time, while also taking on a few shifts as a Shift Supervisor.

In the summer of that year, Snježana embraced the role of FOH Manager full time and played a crucial part in the opening of Ambar Clarendon in the Fall of 2016. Her dedication and hard work led her to begin training for the AGM position at the start of 2018, and in November 2018, she was promoted to the esteemed position of General Manager.

Ljubodrag Draza Mojsilovic's career at Street Guys Hospitality began in July 2016 as a busser at Ambar Restaurant. His dedication and strong work ethic allowed him to quickly advance through various roles, including food runner, server, and bartender, ultimately becoming a manager by early 2018. In this position, he oversaw front-of-house operations, staff training, and event planning, significantly boosting revenue by 25% and earning numerous accolades for the restaurant.

By May 2021, Draza was promoted to General Manager, where he managed daily operations and implemented a new POS system that improved efficiency and reduced costs. His leadership was crucial during the reopening of Buena Vida, where he handled HR, service training, and operational standards. His financial acumen and ability to motivate teams were key to his success in this high-volume environment.

As of June 2023, Draza serves as Service Director, Marketing & IT Coordinator, overseeing service operations across all Street Guys Hospitality locations. He focuses on maintaining high service standards, training staff, and managing restaurant technology systems. His leadership has been pivotal in enhancing training procedures and operational efficiency, including his successful management of the Ambar Shaw opening in March 2023. Outside of work, Draza enjoys skin contact wines, gaming, tennis, and caring for his Bengal cat, Shere Khan.
